This treatment is wonderful for people with tired and aching feet and legs. Perhaps you spend a lot of time standing, running around after young children or just need a few moments to be pampered in every way. It's amazing how a foot treatment can relax your whole body - this works on the principle of Reflexology and the specific points along your feet that relate to your body. This is probably why people comment that they can't believe how much better they feel after this treatment.
This is a lovely idea as a gift for a loved one - mums and grandmothers seem to enjoy this especially and I have found it to be a popular mother's day or birthday present. It can be pre-booked and paid for for someone special in your life, please contact me to arrange this. (Gift certificates will soon be available for this purpose)
What does the treatment involve?
As with all clients, you will be treated like a V.I.P. from the moment you step through the door. First you will be seated in a comfortable chair and left alone to remove your shoes and socks (and if you wish to receive a leg massage also, you may put on a robe). I then check whether you have any allergies/sensitive skin and present you with a choice of fragrant or unscented bath salts and the other products I will be using later, then mix bath salts into the foot spa for you.
The heated foot bath will be ready and waiting for you, so you will dip your feet into it while I prepare a fresh pot of loose leaf tea of your choice. You quietly sip your tea while soaking your feet.
Then your feet will be gently exfoliated (and also your legs if you like) with my own naturally made foot scrub. The foot scrub is then washed off, dried and then a delicious smelling foot butter is massaged into each foot and/or leg. Then warm stones are used to massage your feet and legs - this is so relaxing and pampering!
I can then offer you a neck and shoulder massage while seated in a chair. This session runs for 60 minutes.
